Artist's Comments

A follow-up tutorial to my most recent Yoshi Head tutorial, which can be found here --> [link]

This tutorial continues where the first left off, showing you how to draw the Yoshi's body in my style after doing the head. Naturally, I draw the head first before the body, so it would probably be best if you drew the whole Yoshi in that order yourself to get the best results.

Do Yoshi have shoulders? I don't remember... Of course, this isn't supposed to be an official Yoshi, more of a Melee Kirby-style Yoshi. ^^;

That's really nice! The saddle looks good.
:iconsatoshichan:
I guess it's kinda useful, but that's only 1 way to do it from 1 angle.

The shoulders drawn that way are just how I draw the ends of Yoshi's arms in my style own, but a good friend of mines said he really liked how I did that, so I stuck with it since.

With trial-and-error judgement, you can apply the drawing instructions for other angles too.. I already did that before, but I'm not gonna spend the next 5 hours drawing step-by-step instructions in how to draw Yoshi's body and head in 8 different angles XP

In-depth, trial-and-error can only be applied if the person actually knows how it's supposed to look (which most people who need a tutorial in the first place will judge that by the way the "professionals" do it), which will usually be wrong. Absolutely the best way to show it would be with the ovals and circles, the beginning artist's standard, which can then be rotated, moved, and scaled to make different poses. What's shown here is basically a drawing you made step-by-step.. not a tutorial. o_O

See if he cares.

In a good manner.
